Vicki Tyley, author of, Thin Blood, Sleight Malice, and Brittle Shadows hit the news this weekend with a nice mention in the Sydney Morning Herald’s weekend magazine.
Readers of this blog will know Vicki writes great mystery and suspense novels set in Australia. Her books can be found here.
Fantastic news – congratulations to Vicki.
It is nice to see that indie authors are getting noticed.
Way to GO Vicki!! Well-deserved attention 🙂
Thanks, Stanislav and Grace.
The Sydney Morning Herald’s Good Weekend magazine readership is cited as 1,623,000, and whilst the exposure is wonderful, ebook sales in Australia make up less than 1% of book sales. We’re a bit behind the times here.
Well, according to things I hear about [paper] book prices Down Under, a reasonably priced e-book, such as yours, has to have certain appeal to Australian readers. I think that things will improve. Especially now that several companies started to sell affordable e-book reading devices, and e-books are being written about in well circulated magazines 😉
